    Job Description And Duties

    Anticipated Interview Dates: We anticipate holding in-person interviews beginning the week of May 26th, 2025. We look forward to meeting with you!

    Telework Information: This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.

    Our Enterprise Solutions Development Division (ESDD), Health Team is currently seeking an Information Technology Associate (IT Assoc).

    The IT Assoc works in the Health Team within the ESDD and will support the myCalPERS (MCP) system. Under general supervision of the Information Technology Supervisor II, the IT Assoc is responsible for triaging production issues, successful resolution of defects and implementation of enhancements of the MCP system. The IT Assoc works closely with the solutions architects, business analysts, developers, testers of their own domain and other domains. The IT Assoc works, both independently and cooperatively with others, to carry out assignments using considerable judgment to achieve objectives while following established time frames and performance standards. This position significantly utilizes Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices to maintain and enhance the MCP system. The IT Assoc position works primarily in the Software Engineering domain.
