Summary

At Cornerstone Talent Solutions we have a client who is the US’s largest wound care management company, with a presence in 19 states and counting. Their mission is to facilitate the standardization of evaluating and treating chronic wounds in long-term care facilities by leveraging the power of AI and technology. We’re looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join their growing engineering team and contribute to the development of microservices and modern web applications.


As a Junior Software Engineer, you’ll contribute to developing and maintaining their modern Electronic Medical Record system using cutting-edge microservices and micro-frontend architectures. You’ll be expected to follow best practices, write clean code, and continuously learn within a collaborative environment.

⚡What you'll do:

  • Develop features for Node.js/NestJS microservices and React-based micro-frontends
  • Write well-tested code using unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategies
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning
  • Collaborate on the design of scalable data models across various databases
  • Support the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools on AWS
  • Implement observability, logging, and monitoring practices for reliable deployments
  • Follow secure coding practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA


💡You are:

  • Well-spoken bilingual with a B2+/C1 English level.
  • 1 - 2 years of professional software development experience within the US Market
  • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, with hands-on experience in both Node.js and React
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture, Docker, and cloud platforms like AWS
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and observability best practices
  • A growth mindset and willingness to learn tools like NestJS, service registries, and AI frameworks
