Job Summary

As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative team responsible for testing and validating fintech applications. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or junior professionals to gain hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing within a real-world Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in writing and executing test cases based on functional and technical requirements
• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify bugs and usability issues
• Log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA
• Collaborate with QA team members, developers, and product owners to understand features and functionality
• Support automation testing by learning and contributing to test scripts (based on experience and training)
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and QA planning sessions
• Document test results and maintain test data
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or final-year student/intern)
• 0 to 2 years of experience in software testing (internship or project-based experience is acceptable)
• Understanding of basic QA concepts, testing types, and SDLC/STLC
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of web and mobile applications
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Clear communication and teamwork skills
  
  

Preferred Skills (Nice To Have)

• Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
• Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
• Familiarity with SQL or databases
• Interest or experience in fintech products or services
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or similar is a plus
