As a Project Manager, you’ll work on challenging projects – planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of project development as it relates to federal or state funding for any designated project within the program with high degrees of technical complexity.   • According to program needs and client requests, you will provide technical and managerial support to PRASA executive staff, Program Managers and other program related personnel to coordinate, manage, and participate in project site visits, gather and evaluate project related data, coordinate and/or manage necessary project meetings and technical workshops with the client and other stakeholders, as they are intended for funding applications and/or allocations according to preset regulations, procedures and guidelines.
  • According to program needs and client requests, you will provide technical and managerial support to PRASA executive staff, Program Managers and other program related personnel to prepare and review cost estimates, presentations, meeting minutes, project technical memoranda, and perform quality reviews for project related documentation intended for funding applications and/or allocations according to preset regulations and guidelines.
  • According to program needs and client requests, you will provide technical and managerial support to PRASA executive staff, Program Managers and other program related personnel to coordinate and execute the preparation of progress meetings and workshops documentation and presentations to be provided to or by the client and other stakeholders as intended for funding applications and allocations, as well as auditing reviews according to preset regulations and guidelines.
  • According to program needs and client requests, you will provide technical and managerial support to PRASA executive staff, Program Managers and other program related personnel to coordinate and manage the preparation of project funding packages, administrative addenda, financial, engineering or regulatory documentation as applicable as intended for funding applications and allocations, as well as auditing reviews according to preset regulations and guidelines.
  • According to program needs and client requests, you will provide technical and managerial support to PRASA executive staff, Program Managers and other program related personnel with the identification, arrangement and production of supporting documentation, and preparation of all funding applications, resiliency initiatives, and solicitations proceedings to any federal, state and/or local grant/loan combination according to preset regulations and guidelines.
  • According to program needs and client requests, you will provide technical and managerial support to PRASA executive staff, Program Managers and other program related personnel as it related to the preparation and issuance of official responses to inquiries from federal or state regulatory agencies or entities, as they relate to all funding applications, resiliency initiatives, and solicitations proceedings to any federal, state and/or local grant/loan combination according to preset regulations and guidelines.

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, mechanical, electrical engineering, or other related engineering field.
  • At least 10 years of technical and management experience with small to large infrastructure projects.
  • Current Puerto Rico Engineer-in-Training License (EIT).
  • Up-to-date registration within CIAPR.
  • Mid-level experience in Engineering Management.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Experience with Technical Writing.


Ideally, Here’s What You’ll Also Have

  • Master’s degree in civil, environmental, mechanical, electrical engineering, or other related engineering field.
  • Current experience in Puerto Rico with small to large treatment and conveyance projects involving complex, multidisciplinary, municipal water and wastewater treatment rehabilitation or new construction projects.
  • +15 years of technical and management experience with small to large water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in federal funding projects (FEMA, SRF, CDBG, etc.).


Posted Salary Range Minimum

79,800.00

Posted Salary Range Upper

120,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $79,800.00 to $120,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
