Overview
We're seeking a dedicated Junior Programmer to join our dynamic software development team in Edmonton, AB. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in building and refining software solutions that directly impact mental healthcare. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to grow their coding skills, work on innovative projects, and contribute to a meaningful mission.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Software: Design, write, and deploy high-quality Python/Django applications integrated with Postgres.
Frontend Integration: Build responsive and efficient front-end applications using Next.js and React.
Containerization: Leverage Docker to create consistent, scalable deployment environments.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with product, QA, and operations teams while mentoring junior developers.
Process Improvement: Recommend enhancements, perform code reviews, and uphold robust testing practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience building async multi-tenant applications using Python or Typescript.
Familiarity with Next.js and React for frontend development is a plus.
At least 1 year of programming experience, with a strong drive to learn and develop further.
Basic understanding of databases and operating systems.
Quick adaptability to new software and technologies.
Familiarity with Docker for containerization.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a proven ability to follow instructions.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
