Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
Strong leadership with both strategic and tactical capabilities.

Proficiency in mathematics and budget oversight.

Capable of making difficult, time-sensitive decisions.
Experience with customs inventory control systems, preferably CAM ZOE (Annex 24).
In-depth knowledge of Annex 24, Annex 31, NAFTA, and OAS (Mexico).
Proficient in SAP (Material Master Module).
Experience using the Edicomex system.
Familiarity with Mexican trade programs: IMMEX, ALTEX, ALTIM, PROSEC, CAAT, and E-Manifest.
Proven ability to interpret client regulations and deliver effective solutions.
Excellent communication skills to influence and gain support from other departments.
Demonstrated leadership, integrity, and professionalism.
Strong technical knowledge and process management capabilities.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and manage multiple tasks.
Understanding of quality systems and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) management systems.
Up-to-date knowledge of recent trade agreements and regulatory changes in Mexico: Ability to stay informed about the latest changes in international trade agreements such as the USMCA (formerly NAFTA) and other relevant trade regulations impacting import/export operations in Mexico.
Experience in handling digital compliance and e-commerce imports: Familiarity with new regulations and digital tools for managing e-commerce imports, including cross-border sales and the use of digital platforms for streamlined customs processes.
Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate import/export strategies with various national entities, aligning with the organization’s goals and requirements.
Standardize and efficiently utilize national programs that help the company avoid paying import/export duties across different sites.
Develop and manage key performance metrics across sites to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with departments to maintain effective import/export processes.
Establish effective communication with country leaders in purchasing, materials, production, logistics, and sales to ensure departmental alignment.
Monitor, investigate, and report anticipated changes in import/export laws and local practices, integrating updates into strategy and operations.
Oversee and standardize customs software used for managing material and equipment flows in and out of the country.
Comply with all job-related instructions from direct supervisors.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment; adhere to safety guidelines and consistently use personal protective equipment (PPE) where required.
Use and understand the Entropy system.
Be familiar with and uphold EHS system responsibilities.
