Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Junior Java Developer to join our dynamic team in the Netherlands. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure Java applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about software development, thrives in an agile environment, and is eager to contribute to innovative projects that enhance digital retail solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications and services to support Hanshow’s digital retail solutions.
• Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, front-end developers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize application performance and ensure efficient data processing.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Web Services, and cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile development environment.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and Chinese.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React or Angular is a plus.
