Summary

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile IT Project Manager to lead and manage diverse IT projects across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Initiation:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
  • Obtain necessary approvals and funding.


Project Planning and Execution:

  • Break down projects into manageable tasks and assign responsibilities.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks.
  • Implement effective change management processes.
  • Manage project budgets and resources.


Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members.


Stakeholder Management:

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Effectively communicate project status and risks.
  • Manage expectations and resolve conflicts.


Risk Management:

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential issues.


Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Conduct regular quality reviews and audits.


Post-Project Review:

  • Evaluate project performance and identify lessons learned.
  • Document project outcomes and share best practices.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year and above of experience in related field.
  • Proven experience in managing IT projects of varying complexity.
  • Strong project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid). • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and applications.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.


Job Details:

  • Working days: Monday - Friday
  • Location: Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur (nearby public transport)
  • Salary: up to RM 6000 (based on last drawn & years of experience)
  • Status: Contract
  • Duration: 12 months
