Job Title: Junior Financial Controller

Location: Houten & Oisterwijk (Hybrid)

€4,000 - €5,000 per month

We're hiring on behalf of a growing company in the compliance and risk management sector. With offices in multiple locations and a team of around 85 employees, they support over 600 clients across their industry.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their finance career. You'll join a small and experienced finance team and work closely with colleagues at two key office locations.

About the Role

As Junior Financial Controller, you'll support the finance function by taking ownership of control tasks, monthly closings, and some administrative duties. You’ll work from the Oisterwijk office and also support a team based in Houten. This is a varied role offering both structure and flexibility.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Assisting with monthly closings and financial statements
• Managing project administration
• Handling VAT returns and supporting payroll processes (via AFAS)
• Processing purchase/sales invoices, bank transactions, and journal entries
• Managing accounts payable and receivable

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to know everything, but you do need to be hands-on, detail-focused, and open to learning.

You’ll do well if you:

• Have bookkeeping experience
• Can work independently with systems like Microsoft Office, Exact Online, and preferably AFAS
• Are organised and enjoy working with numbers
• Can be trusted with confidential financial data
• Like variety and want to understand different areas of a business
• It is essential that you are bi-lingual - Dutch and English
