About the role:

As a Junior ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Developer, you will assist in the extraction, transformation, and loading of data to support data integration and reporting needs. You will work closely with senior team members to learn best practices and gain hands-on experience with ETL processes. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a foundation in data management and ETL development.

Responsibilities:

·      Data Extraction: Assist in gathering data from various sources under the guidance of the senior ETL developer.

·      Data Transformation: Support the implementation of data transformation processes to ensure consistency and accuracy.

·      Data Loading: Help load transformed data into data warehouses and other storage solutions, ensuring efficiency and best practices.

·      Data Quality and Validation: Perform basic data quality checks and assist in identifying inconsistencies or errors.

·      Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of ETL processes, data flows, and mappings.

·      Collaboration: Work closely with team members and stakeholders to understand data needs and support reporting.

·      Data Security: Adhere to data security and privacy standards, ensuring the protection of sensitive information during ETL processes.

Skill Requirements:

·      Basic understanding of ETL concepts and data integration.

·      Knowledge of SQL for querying and data manipulation.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·      Attention to detail and the ability to handle large datasets.

·      Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

·      Exposure to scripting languages like Python, Perl, or Bash. 

·     Desire to learn basic accounting concepts.

Salary Range:

·      €1,000 - €1,500 per Month

·      Salary is dependent upon experience. A higher range could be justified for the right candidate.
