Hiring Range: $66,000 - $75,468 Annually
North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) is seeking a Junior Drupal Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. If you have a passion for building high-quality web applications and possess experience in Drupal development, this role could be a great opportunity to advance your career.

In this role, you will:
* Design, develop, and maintain Drupal-based web applications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
* Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
* Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.0 and ADA standards.
* Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
* Work with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TWIG, and AJAX.
* Contribute to Drupal theming and module development.
* Manage version control using GIT.
* Integrate RESTful APIs and web services.
The successful candidate must have an understanding of WCAG 2.0 and ADA compliance standards and be willing to expand on that knowledge. They will possess excellent troubleshooting skills, and have a keen attention to technical details, ensuring that all work is of high quality, accurate, and delivers robust solutions. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines efficiently.
Preferred qualifications include:
* Experience with other content management systems (CMS)
* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
* Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
To be considered for this role you must have the following:
* An Associate degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or a related area and 1 year of progressive experience involving the development and maintenance of web applications, troubleshooting and system analysis, with knowledge in navigating and complying with WCAG 2.0 and ADA standards
Professional experience as described above maybe substituted for the education requirement on a year for year basis.
This role is classified as an Application Developer II, Information Services III. NDIT will attempt to fill this position at this level. If unable to find candidates who meet the above outlined minimum qualifications, the hiring authority reserves the right to under fill this position at the Application Developer level. NDIT will train the successful candidate in any areas of unfamiliarity.
