Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computers or Information Management Systems;
• No professional experience necessary;
• Understand different concepts surrounding programming languages such as Java, C, C++ and SQL;
• Understand different variations around databases such as Microsoft SQL Server;

Responsibilities:

In your day-to-day as a junior database administrator, your role will be essential in supporting the team with various activities related to database administration. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the team in database administration: You will work with different technologies, such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and others, for various clients. Your tasks will include monitoring, installing patches, migrations, upgrades, and database configurations
• Assisting in problem-solving and performance optimization: When there are scenarios of database slowness or instability, you will help the team identify and resolve these issues, using techniques such as query tuning to improve query performance
• Automating tasks: You will contribute to developing scripts to automate administrative and monitoring tasks for databases, helping to optimize time and processes
  
  

These activities will be carried out in collaboration with the team and with supervision, allowing you to continuously learn and gain hands-on experience with various technologies and real-world scenarios.
