Responsibilities The Continuous Improvement Engineer holds a dual role that combines the responsibilities of driving process improvements and maintaining corporate standards through the IDEMIA framework. In this key position, the CI Engineer will lead efforts to identify, analyze, and implement process improvement initiatives, while also ensuring that all corporate standards upheld and generating efficiency-focused projects in alignment with the LEAN Manufacturing methodology. To effectively support Manufacturing 4.0 in credit card production, engineering teams need to adopt roles that align with the goals of digital transformation, automation, data integration, and smart manufacturing. The Continuous Improvement Engineer should focus on bringing solutions to increase efficiency and optimization of process developing, designing, and optimizing production processes with a focus on lean, agile, and digital systems, programming and integrate operation (Programmable Logic Controllers) with factory systems, automate packaging and sorting processes, etc. Integrating operational systems for seamless communication with link MES (Manufacturing Execution System) with MRP and D365 database and other systems. Process Analysis & Bottlenecks identification: * Redesign workflows to reduce bottlenecks using data analytics. Implement real-time monitoring dashboards for production lines, reduce waste, and increase uptime. * Analyze machine performance (OEE) supporting the OEE governance (Vorne/MES integration), defect rates, and throughput trends building models for predictive quality issues and anomaly detection enable real-time visibility from the shop floor to top floor. * Map and analyze the processes to identify value/non-value-added steps, and pinpoint inefficiencies and bottlenecks in production workflows. * Collaborate with stakeholders on the shop floor to understand pain points and gather insights into process challenges. Work with each APUs to identify & define missing key performance indicators managing plant tours to analyze the KPIs daily. Training & Collaboration: * Provide training and mentorship to team members on Lean Manufacturing methodologies and process improvement tools. * Collaborate with colleagues across departments to foster a culture of continuous improvement. * Work closely with top-management staff to establish sustainable Lean practices that empower employees, accelerate change, and enable personal and team development. * Audit and ensure that all standards defined at corporate level are adhered. Work with other Idemia sites to exchange Best Practices Qualifications * Proficient in English, both spoken and written. * Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Degree or Equivalent * 2+ years of industrial background (experience in coordinating production activities is a plus) * Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. * Effective communication and presentation skills. * Understanding complex systems and production flows. * Troubleshooting skills and diligence. * Project Management principles. * Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings and specifications. * Documentation and organization skills. * Ability to challenge status quo and anticipate trends impacting Industrial Strategy * Ability to work under pressure, with minimum supervision (Autonomous) * Ability to work in an international environment. * Comfortable with the Office 365 software suite * Experience with Power BI / Power Apps/AutoCAD Physicals Demands The physical demands described below are indicative of the demands needed to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
