About the role Join a large transportation company as a Junior Construction Site Manager in the Kempen and Limburg region. You will play a crucial role in assisting the project leader in monitoring construction and renovation projects, such as station upgrades and parking facilities. This exciting opportunity allows you to be part of vital civil projects that shape the infrastructure within these regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to the project leader for station renovations, parking structures, and other civil projects
• Oversee site work and ensure compliance with execution plans and project specifications
• Organize and participate in site meetings, ensuring clear communication among stakeholders
• Prepare and verify progress statements, and monitor contractor performance
• Compile as-built and post-intervention documentation for timely project completion
  
  

Requirements

• Must currently be based within a 50-mile radius around the Kempen or Limburg region in Belgium
• Must have a bachelor's degree in a construction-related field or at least 1 year of experience as a site manager
• Must have knowledge of building techniques, including wood or general construction processes and experience reading technical building plans
• Must have experience using MS Office 365 for project documentation
• Must be willing to travel regularly to project sites in the region
  
  

Preferred skills

• Knowledge of AutoCAD or BIM360
• Understanding of workplace safety regulations
• A valid class B driving license
