📍 Jersey | Junior Client Accountant

I am working with a growing and supportive financial services firm in Jersey to recruit a Junior Client Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone in the early stages of their accounting career to join a collaborative environment where development, learning, and long-term career growth are genuinely supported.

The role will suit someone who is either studying or planning to study towards a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, ICAS, or CIMA, and who is eager to build strong technical accounting foundations within the fund and corporate services sector.

The Role:

• Responsible for bookkeeping a diverse portfolio of clients
• Conduct full, detailed reviews of own work before submission
• Develop competence in client accounting work, progressing to more complex cases over time
• Assist in the preparation of periodic financial reports and management accounts
• Support the annual audit process, including assisting in the preparation of financial statements
• Respond to and complete routine audit queries
• Assist with annual tax and regulatory filings, and other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Experience & Skills:

• Experience with double entry bookkeeping
• Competent user of Excel and other relevant IT platforms
• Good communication skills
• Studying or intending to study towards a professional accounting qualification
