Your mission:

As a Junior Analytics Engineer at Tresorit, you will bridge the gap between raw data and a rich, robust, reliable data warehouse. You will work closely with data analysts/scientists, (data) engineers, and business stakeholders to develop data pipelines, maintain our data warehouse, and ensure the integrity of our analytics infrastructure. This role is perfect for someone eager to grow their technical skills and make an impact in a high-growth environment.

What you'll be doing?

• Build, maintain, and optimize ELT/ETL data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with data analysts/scientists to transform raw data into clean, structured, and actionable datasets.
• Assist in maintaining our Databricks warehouse and ensure data quality and reliability.
• Contribute to documentation and best practices for data engineering and analytics processes.
• Use Git and version control best practices for managing code and collaboration.
• Act as a second responder for data infrastructure issues, assisting with troubleshooting and resolution.

What you’ll need?

• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases,
• Understanding of ELT/ETL principles and data modeling concepts,
• Basic experience with cloud-based data warehouses such as Databricks, Snowflake or BigQuery,
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills,
• You’re passionate about helping others and keen to roll up your sleeves and take ownership to drive company-wide impact,
• Collaborated across teams and have the willingness to learn from others,
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hungarian.

Bonus points:

• 1-2 years of experience in a data-related role,
• Exposure to any BI tool (PowerBI, Looker, Tableau etc.),
• Experience with Python for data manipulation.
