- Low Dropout Regulators (LDOs)
- Voltage references
- Current references
- Oscillators
- Error amplifiers
- Comparators
- Protection circuits (Over-Voltage, Over-Current, Short-Circuit)
- Thermal management circuits
- Perform thorough circuit simulations (transient, AC, DC, noise, stability, etc.) using industry-standard EDA tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys).
- Collaborate closely with layout engineers to ensure optimal physical implementation and adherence to design rules and performance requirements.
- Participate in silicon validation and characterization, including the development of test plans, bench setup, and data analysis.
- Debug and resolve design issues found during simulation, layout, and silicon validation phases.
- Document design specifications, simulation results, and test reports.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including system engineers, digital designers, and test engineers.
Requirements:
- Minimum: Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field with a focus on Analog Integrated Circuit Design.
- Preferred: PhD degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on Analog Integrated Circuit Design.
Technical Skills:
- Strong fundamentals in analog circuit theory and device physics.
- Familiar with industry-standard EDA tools for schematic capture, simulation (Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, AMS Designer), and layout (Cadence Virtuoso XL/GXL).
- Knowledge on silicon process technologies (CMOS, BCD) and their design constraints.
- A 1:2 years of hands-on experience in analog circuit design is preferred.
- Experience with silicon characterization and debugging using lab equipment is a plus (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, etc.).
Personal Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
