Job Description
The Broadband Device (BBD) Business Unit leads the development of global access device products, with full ownership of home access products, playing a critical role in Fixed Networks. The team is focused on people care, technical excellence, and delivering high-quality products. As part of this team, you will contribute to the testing and maintenance of new features before they become globally available.
Based in Athens, Greece, you’ll collaborate within an international team, working on Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) 5G and other BBD products. You will help ensure the highest quality standards are met while gaining hands-on experience in the fast-evolving field of 5G telecommunications and building strong teamwork and communication skills with global stakeholders.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
What you will learn and contribute to:
- New Features Analysis, SW Design, Clean Code Implementation, following the BBD SW architecture guidelines and highest quality standards.
- Unit/Module Tests implementation and execution.
- Customer Documentation updates and review.
- Internal and Customer errors analysis and resolution in timely and qualitative manner.
- Analysis and resolution of Static and Dynamic Code Analysis Tools.
Key Skills And Experience
Your Skills and Experience:
- BSc or MSc in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowhow and practice record in C software development.
- Understanding of Linux based operating systems.
- Practice with software versioning systems such as Git, Gitlab, Gerrit.
- Familiarity with 3GPP, TCP/IP, 4G/5G radio or packet core, Wi-Fi, TR069, TR369, and L2/L3 forwarding/routing protocols.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- High dedication to teamwork, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently in a multinational environment.
- Excellent verbal and written English skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Continuous Improvement and proactive mindset.
Nice to Have:
- 1+ years of successful software development experience.
- Knowhow in scripting languages.
- Knowledge of Telecom Security and Networking domains.
- Understanding of Agile software development methodology.
