Summary

Baker University seeks qualified applicants for a Jr System Developer vacancy in the Department of Information Services. The Jr System Developer (C#, .Net, PHP, SQL, SSRS, SSIS, TSQL, Windows, Apex, Flow) is responsible for working with different departments within the organization to create or improve workflow of data from external sources to the many applications that make up the ecosystem of the University. Also working with end users to create dashboards and reporting work flow to assist in daily, weekly, monthly and yearly data analytics. Developing with software such as Salesforce, Anthology Student, and Boomi. Additional knowledge of web-based application development is important as well. This position REQUIRES full time ON SITE attendance. Job Requirements: Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field is required (Bachelor of Science Degree preferred). Must have: at least 2 years of experience current certifications in C#, ASP.NET, NET Framework 2.0 – 4.0, Visual Studio 2019 or above; at least 2 years of development experience; Experience with: SQL (TSQL preferred), Windows Server, and object-oriented design. Must be able to: learn various applications and assist end users with problems using those applications; communicate effectively; learn new programming languages and development tools; work with little or no supervision; be innovative, responsible, trustworthy, respectful, friendly, dependable, flexible; able to multi-task; open to change; have quick problem-solving skills; and be able to contribute and be productive and efficient in a team environment.
