Astrion is seeking a Jr. Overhead Systems Integration Support Analyst in the Washington D.C. area.
Responsibilities
Support the government development lead on a wide range of sensor systems engineering and integration lines of effort, such as system design reviews, requirements management and verification, risk identification and mitigation, technical analysis supporting design trades, CONOPs development, ground segment integration and interface management, technical tradeoffs, and monitoring of system developer performance.
Required
3 years relevant experience with overhead systems, 5+ years preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or 10+ years relevant job experience required
Experience with NRO space and ground communication systems architectures
Experience with manned and unmanned tactical ISR platforms including compartmented system capabilities
Understanding of technical interfaces and sensor integration with a mission partner's system
Mix of technical acumen, analytic skills, and a breadth of mission knowledge to succeed in this position.
Strong communication, writing, and briefing interpersonal skills
Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Daily on-site presence in a SCIF within D.C. Metro Area (i.e. Washington Navy Yard, McLean, Pentagon, Ft Meade, Chantilly)
Desired
Technical background based on experience with sensor integration programs across multiple different agencies (NRO, NGA, ODNI, AF RCO, etc.)
Experience fusing data from multiple paths to increase track confidence
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering
Active TS/SCI clearance and experience with special access programs
