Job Title: Junior Engineer

Location: Powai, Mumbai

Division: Electrical Maintenance Division, IIT Bombay

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualifications:
• B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (with at least 1 year of post-qualification experience), OR
• Integrated M.Tech/M.E. in Electrical Engineering, OR
• 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering (with at least 6 years of relevant experience).
• Experience: At least 1 year for B.Tech/B.E. holders or 6 years for Diploma holders in relevant fields.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Design, Estimation Execution:
• HT/LT substations and distribution systems.
• Pumping systems and electrical control panels.
• Project planning, cost estimation, execution, and billing.
• Maintenance Troubleshooting:
• Renewable energy systems, ELU (Exhaust and Lighting Units), heating systems, and other utility functions.
• Desirable Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Engineering Drawings .
• Strong computer application skills.
  

Compensation

• Initial Pay Level: 6 (35,400 - 1,12,400) (inclusive of allowances)
• Contract Duration: 3 years (extendable based on performance)
• Promotion Opportunity: Eligible for promotion to Pay Level 7 (44,900 - 1,42,400) based on performance.
