Summary

Job Description

Network Automation’s DevOps Team is looking for passionate software engineers to develop best in class tools to increase the team’s productivity and discover ways to deliver a high-quality product. Come help build our environments, tools and processes for our R&D community. You’ll analyze existing systems, identify inefficiencies, propose solutions and a plan to implement the solutions. Come champion the DevOps spirit to our R&D community and seek to continually improve our tools and processes as well as your skills.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Research and evaluate software to include in the development environment and product.
  • Make informed technology choices and implementation decisions.
  • Devise ways to capture and represent complex information in simple ways.
  • Automate and help teams automate, everything.
  • Support the R&D community and support external groups.
  • Continuously improve personal and the team’s skill set.
  • Promote continuous integrations and continuous deployment (CI/CD) principles.

Key Skills And Experience

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong experience with Linux based operating systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Python experience.
  • Additional experience with Java, Groovy, Gradle, Ansible, Golang and Bash.
  • Experience creating Docker images, Helm charts and integrating in Kubernetes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Application experience with Jenkins, Artifactory and Gitlab .
