Description & Requirements

• System Administration
• Regularly monitor project servers to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform OS upgrades, apply security patches, and manage system updates.
• Device Health Monitoring
• Monitor test devices in the lab using tools, scripts, and physical inspections.
• Identify and report offline devices to respective owners for timely resolution.
• Coordination with Support Teams
• Work closely with the IT & Network teams to ensure device connectivity.
• Collaborate with the facility team for lab maintenance, including TV racks, name boards, and overall lab environment.
• Inventory Management
• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of project-related devices.
• Track device inward and outward movements with proper documentation.
• Conduct regular audits to verify device availability and condition.
• Procurement Management
• Co-ordinate with the procurement team to obtain vendor quotations.
• Follow the purchase request process, including raising PRs and securing approvals.
• Track deliveries and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely receipt of hardware.
• Work with facility/security teams for smooth device movement and logistics.
• Perform physical verification of hardware upon arrival.
