Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician for a contract position at Fairlane Products. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who is eager to expand their knowledge and skills within an industrial setting. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and designing and installing electrical systems for our newly renovated manufacturing facility. You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while contributing to diverse and innovative projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical System Maintenance: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, control systems, and electrical panels in an industrial setting.
• New Construction: Electrical and mechanical systems planning & installations.
• New Machinery: New machine service connections.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance and engineering teams to ensure the efficient layout & operation of electrical systems.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Utilize blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose electrical issues, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• System Upgrades: Assist in designing and implementing electrical upgrades and modifications to improve the performance and reliability of industrial machinery and equipment.

Qualifications

• Certification: Journeyman Electrician certification required.
• Experience: Proven experience in electrical installation and maintenance, with a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.
• Thoughtful: A keen eye for detail.
• Industrial Environment: Previous experience working in industrial or manufacturing settings is preferred.
• Technical Expertise: Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical documents.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve electrical issues efficiently.
• Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
