JOB REQUIREMENTS: Interstate Power System\'s is looking for First and

Second Shift Journeyman Diesel Truck Mechanic/Technician(s) for our

Butler Wisconsin location. We are currently seeking Journeyman Diesel

Mechanic/Technician(s) to join our team who are specializing in

Freightliner, Detroit, Allison, Cummins, CAT products, MTU and more! We

are offering highly competitive wages! A Journeyman Diesel Truck

Technician will be a resident expert within their assigned field. They

will have the ability to work a job from start to finish independently

from assignment. Has expertise on all internal systems within their job

scope. A Journeyman will mentor other employees by providing training

and guidance on use of internal systems. This individual will

proactively identify improvements, responds in times of need, and makes

themselves available to service team. A Journeyman will have more than 5

years\' experience as a mechanic in the heavy-duty truck industry.

Diesel Technicians will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and

maintaining diesel engines and related components in trucks, buses, and

other heavy-duty vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong

mechanical aptitude, diagnostic skills, and a passion for working with

diesel engines. Most repairs taking place will be done at customers

Duties Responsible for repairing, maintaining diesel engines and diesel

components used in various vehicles and diesel equipment. Technical

degree or certification a plus. Accurately and efficiently diagnose

complex diesel engine conditions and make necessary repairs. Communicate

effectively with peers, foreman, and service team regarding those

repairs. Quality control work performed to ensure maximum customer

satisfaction. Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion. Meet

requirements for certifications. Diesel Mechanic/Technician Requirements

Valid Driver\'s license (Bonus compensation for CDL holders) 5 years

plus as a heavy-duty diesel truck mechanic. Must possess a good work

ethic, a positive attitude, and be reliable. Must possess an excellent

understanding of Detroit Diesel engines through the current GHG17
