Key Responsibilities
Strong leadership skills and communication skills
Interpret and work from construction drawings and blueprints.
Select and procure appropriate lumber and materials.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to specifications.
Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim, molding, and hardware, electrical, and foundations.
Perform siding and exterior finish work as needed.
Diagnose and repair structural issues and damages.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
Collaborate effectively with project teams and subcontractors.
Maintain and care for tools and equipment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
5+ years of practical experience as a carpenter
Proficiency in carpentry tools and equipment.
Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
Commitment to safety and safe work practices.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
