Who You Are:

You are a proactive problem-solver who thrives in collaborative environments and brings unique perspectives to the table. As a Software Developer II, you will take initiative, mentor junior developers, and drive projects to success with minimal oversight.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with development teams and product managers to ideate and develop innovative software solutions
• Work with front-end technologies such as React and Next.js
• Eat 1-2 handfuls of goldfish more than you should
• Utilize Node.js and Express to write RESTful APIs
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software to enhance efficiency
• Develop mobile-responsive features and applications
• Drink more cold brew than is clinically advisable
• Translating mockups / Figma designs into robust interactive applications

Your Skill Set:

• Approximately 2-4 years of experience in full-stack development
• Strong proficiency in React (Required)
• Proficiency in Node.js and Express (or other JavaScript API Frameworks) (Required)
• Proficiency in TypeScript (Required)
• Experience working with one of the following: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL (Preferred)
• Experience working with third party APIs (such as Stripe, Twilio, Mapbox, Google services)
• Proven experience in both small and large-scale software projects
• Excellent troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills
• Eager to continuously learn and grow your skills
• Ability to engage in frequent discussions about application architecture

Extra points for:

• Next.js
• Prisma or other database ORM
• AWS / other cloud providers
• Experience working with UI frameworks / style-systems (MUI, Mantine, Tailwind)
• Experience deploying and maintaining a project
• Proficiency in ping pong (strongly encouraged)
