Overview of the Inventory Manager Position: Do you have a love for organizing? Do you enjoy hands-on work and seeing the direct impact of what you do each day? Applied Concepts is looking for an Inventory Manager to lead our stockroom and bring order and accuracy to our inventory. What You'll Do: Ensure inventory is accurate, organized, and stored in FIFO order Manage stock across multiple buildings, including operating a forklift to move materials Monitor and maintain proper inventory locations to support builds and shipments Identify obsolete and expired materials and report finding to management monthly using an Excel spreadsheet Be the key person in keeping our stockroom clean and organized Lead, train and manage the stockroom associates to ensure proper storage, retrieval, and handling of materials Ensure the proper handling, storing, and organization of materials within the warehouse. Enforce workplace safety standards and best practices, ensuring compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and other safety protocols. Manage the Receiving Clerk and the receipt of incoming materials, ensuring accurate receipt, proper documentation, labeling, handling, and routing in accordance with company processes. Conduct annual performance reviews for stockroom and receiving staff, providing feedback, identifying areas for improvement and setting goals.
