What You Bring
- Proven experience of technically leading at least one scrum team
- Expertise in core Java, Spring Boot, Spring (MVC, IOC, AOP, Security), SQL, RDBMS (Oracle and PostGRES), Web-services (JSON and SOAP), Kafka, Zookeeper
- Experience in developing microservice applications and deploying them on public clouds (Google, AWS, Azure)
- Proficiency in using Intellij/Eclipse/My Eclipse IDE, UML tools (MS Visio, PlantUML)
- Experience in writing Junit test cases, working with Maven/Ant/Gradle, GIT
- Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, Rabbit MQ, Active MQ)
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Strong logical and analytical skills, excellent design skills
- Ability to articulate and present thoughts clearly and precisely in English (written and verbal)
- Knowledge of Design Patterns and Security concepts (e.g., authentication, authorization, confidentiality)
- Experience in Payments application Domain is a plus
- Familiarity with tools like Mockito, JBehave, Jenkins, Bamboo, Confluence, Rally
Desirable Skills
- Experience with cloud-native architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Familiarity with API Gateway and service mesh concepts
- Understanding of distributed systems and microservices patterns
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Certification in Java or related technologies is a plus
Your Role
As our Java Technical Lead, you will:
- Lead projects through all stages of the project life cycle, including requirement understanding, estimation, design, development, and acceptance testing
- Collaborate with Architect and Product Manager - Technical to develop low-level design
- Develop critical components and create proof of concepts for new/unknown use cases/ideas
- Conduct code reviews and ensure overall code quality
- Mentor less experienced team members
- Write and review Design Documentation as required
- Perform SCM Operations – branching, merging, tagging, conflict resolution
- Explore upcoming technologies to improve existing solutions
- Comply with organizational processes and policies, protect organization’s Intellectual property, and participate in process improvement and knowledge sharing
