We are looking for a skilled Java Tech Lead/Architect who can design and implement high-performance, API-driven solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-native applications and enterprise integrations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and lead the integration of enterprise applications, ensuring seamless communication across systems.
  • Design and implement API integrations, middleware solutions, and enterprise service bus (ESB) architectures to support business processes.
  • Develop and manage scalable integration frameworks, enabling smooth data exchange between internal and external systems.
  • Oversee system enhancements and ticket-based support, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Reverse engineer and document existing system architecture, providing clarity on as-is structures.
  • Translate business needs into scalable, high-performance technical architectures.
  • Lead proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives to evaluate and implement new technologies.
  • Ensure best practices for performance modeling, testing, and tuning in cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, security, and development, to optimize cloud-native applications.
  • Promote and enforce DevSecOps best practices, ensuring secure and resilient cloud deployments.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership, including reviewing code and contributing to development when needed.


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Strong expertise in enterprise integration and API development.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, and C, with experience in designing scalable and high-performance solutions.
  • Hands-on AWS experience, including application architecture, cloud deployment, and security best practices.
  • Experience in API-driven development and enterprise integration patterns (SOA, APIs, messaging, file-based integration).
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD environments, with tools like Jenkins, Git, and Terraform.
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable, cloud-native applications in AWS.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings and team-building efforts.
  • Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
