We are currently in search of a seasoned Java Software Engineer for our client within the Financial Services Sector. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of software components for a core trading system.

• Start date: July 2025
• Duration: 6 Months (with a possible extension)

• Location: Zurich or Geneva

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Trading platform
• Implement cloud-based solutions, utilizing the latest technologies and adhering to best practices
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure software quality

Required skills

• Proficiency in Java programming for implementing microservices
• Python coding skills, including experience with data streaming using Apache Kafka
• Solid understanding of the Spring Boot framework
• Extensive experience with databases, including some knowledge of DBA tasks as well as writing optimizes SQL queries
• Familiarity with Git
• Fluent in English

Nice-to-have skills

• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux
• Familiarity with Angular
• Knowledge of French and/or German
