On behalf of a global client in China, RED is currently looking for 2 x Java Engineers that have experience working with Automation to join a 2+ year project on a freelance basis.

Role Details:

Duration - 12 months with a view to extend

Capacity - 5 days per week

Location - 3 days per week onsite near Shanghai or Chendu

Tasks:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications in alignment with project requirements and industry best practices.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to define and implement software features.

• Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high code quality and adherence to standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, optimizing performance and scalability.

• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering continuous learning and improvement.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends to enhance development processes.

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment.

• Develop and maintain documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture.
