We are expanding our consultancy business in Poland, and we're looking for Java Software Engineers to join our team. If you are passionate about technology, coding, and solving complex problems, we want to hear from you.

About The Project

Full Stack Developer reporting to a Development Manager. We expect the person to participate in all parts of the development life cycle including analysis, testing and production support. The client team does not have separate teams and these activities are all part of the role.

What You’ll Do

• Develop, maintain, and optimize applications using Java technologies
• Take a business requirement, divide it up into stories and deliver each story iteratively to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement high-quality software solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve software defects and issues
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and coding practices
• Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and high standards of quality
• Product support is integral to the role – we have a saying, “the team builds it, the team supports it”.
• Identify areas of technical debt, ensure a healthy balance of tech debt and new functionality is prioritised and worked on
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a Software Engineer with expertise in Java development
• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
• Familiarity with databases and cloud-based technologies from a consumer point of view
• Knowledge of HTTP APIs e.g. RESTful APIs
• Experience working in agile development environments
• Working knowledge of UNIX is nice to see
• Applicants must be located in Poland and have the right to work in the country
