Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer with APEX experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust web applications using Oracle APEX and JavaScript Libraries. The successful candidate must have experience designing and implementing user-friendly applications. Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop and deliver modern web applications that meet customer requirements, using a combination of APEX, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL. * Responsible for the integration of third-party APEX Plugins and JavaScript libraries. * Participate in cross functional team recommending new product features. * Evaluate new technology options, recommending the adoption of new technologies Required Skills: * Minimum of 5 years' experience in Oracle development with at least 2 years' experience designing and developing commercial web applications using Oracle APEX * Strong understanding of database inter-connectivity and data transfer methods such as REST etc. * Experience in modern web technologies e.g., HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery, JavaScript. * Strong experience with Oracle databases, including development and optimization of complex Procedures and functions. * Basic knowledge of Linux * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred Skills: * Some experience with Java * Experience with AWS and Oracle monitoring tools * Science background or experience working in a scientific environment.
