Java Developer – Digital Assets/Crypto Trading Desk

We are currently seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a newly established Digital Assets & Crypto Trading and Market Making desk at a leading systematic trading firm.

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with traders and quantitative researchers to design, develop, and optimize cutting-edge trading infrastructure. The role will focus on building low-latency systems from the ground up, supporting the full trading lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with traders and quants to develop trading capabilities and infrastructure
• Design and implement low-latency components including order execution, market connectivity, real-time pricing, and strategy engines
• Build and maintain core trading system components such as the OMS and market data handlers

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience building low-latency trading systems
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, including multi-threading, concurrency, and design patterns
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly AWS
• Demonstrated experience working in close partnership with traders and quantitative teams
• Solid understanding of electronic trading, particularly across FX, Spot, Futures, and Swaps
• A strong interest in Crypto/Digital Assets is essential
