Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications.
• Implement and optimize Elasticsearch and Solr search functionalities.
• Develop RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with frontend and backend systems.
• Work with large datasets to create efficient search and indexing mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in search systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement search requirements.
• Write efficient, clean, and maintainable code while following best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and optimize application performance.
  
  

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE development.
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and Apache Solr, including setup, configuration, and optimization.
• Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
• Good understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (e. g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with search analytics, indexing, and querying techniques.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Exposure to DevOps tools like Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of full-text search engines and relevance tuning.
• Experience in distributed systems and handling large-scale data.
• Familiarity with log analysis tools and monitoring systems.
