Job Description

Develop Enterprise Level Web based applications in J2EE

Develop Enterprise Level Desktop applications in J2SE.

Key Responsibilities

Fully develop Web based applications

Fully develop Desktop applications

Writing clean, optimised Java & SQL codes to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way

Troubleshooting, testing and maintaining the Website/Desktop and database

Follow industry best practices when writing Java codes or SQL Queries

Mandatory Requirements

Expert knowledge and command on Java language, who can work on Web Application development as well as Desktop applications.

Design, develop and code various Web/Desktop applications to ensure projects are implemented on schedule.

Expert knowledge of relational databases/SQL, mostly MS SQL, Oracle or MySQL

Good knowledge of AJAX, JavaScript and jQuery(for website development)

Good knowledge of HTML and CSS(for website development)

Good or Basic knowledge of Android is a very big advantage but not mandatory

Design creativity is a big advantage but not mandatory

Soft Skills

Good communication skills in English, ability to listen to customer, understand their requirements and respond back meaningfully. Ability to work in a small team or individually and share different tasks which are pertinent to the organization.

Preferred Attributes

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
