As a Java Backend Developer (Java - Corretto 21), you will collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, analysts, testers, and infrastructure teams to develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient back-end applications.
Your responsibilities include writing testable, maintainable, and high-performance Java code while focusing on API creation, optimization, and system integration. You will automate processes to enhance efficiency, ensure system stability using modern monitoring tools, and take end-to-end ownership of applications, including identifying and resolving issues.
Staying up to date with new technologies, you will integrate improvements into projects, contribute to requirements analysis, and ensure timely delivery of software solutions. Documentation and task management will be maintained using Confluence, SharePoint, MS Teams, Slack, and JIRA.

REQUIREMENTS
- Strong back-end development skills in Java (at least 3-5 years)
- Solid experience with applying domain driven design to high-traffic, service-oriented and API-first architectures and best practices around designing, scaling and monitoring concurrent systems (using different technologies and preferably RESTful APIs, message passing protocols and possibly asynchronous solutions)
- Backend: Spring Boot, Java 21 (Amazon Correto), Rest-MicroServices
- Java Frameworks: Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate, Apache Commons
- Frontend: Angular 19
- Database: PostgreSQL 17
-Cloud: Amazon Web Services (RDS, ELB, ECR ...), Google Cloud Services
- At least basic experience with web technologies (HTML, Vanilla Javascript, CSS, React JS )
- Knowledge of the following technologies an advantage: Maven, Jenkins, RabbitMQ, Thymeleaf, Docker, Kafka, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana
- Excellent problem solving and attention to detail
- Experience designing data-models for relational and NoSQL data stores
- Good communication skills in English
