Job Title: Java Architect (DFW Area Only)

Location: Plano, TX (Candidates must be local to DFW area)

We are seeking an experienced Java Architect with strong domain expertise in Manufacturing, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, or Food & Beverage industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead application modernization initiatives: transition from monolithic to microservice and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with messaging systems (Kafka, Camunda) and APIGEE management.
• Design and review "To-Be" architecture with the Enterprise Architect team.
• Create High-Level and Low-Level Designs for microservices architecture.
• Provide technical support to development teams and collaborate with product owners and technology managers.
• Examine existing architecture systems, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Define infrastructure requirements aligned with business and technical goals.
• Troubleshoot system bottlenecks and architectural challenges.
• Validate architectural flexibility and scalability through testing.
• Guide integration strategies and system performance reviews.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Software/Java Architect.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, APIGEE Management, and related technologies.
• Experience designing scalable and secure software networks and applications.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities.

Must Have Domain Experience:

• Manufacturing, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, or Food & Beverage sectors.
