Human Resources Generalist - Greer, SC
Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager, HRIS, Benefits and Compliance, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the effective performance of the human resources functions across all businesses
Primary Functions
* Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disputes and investigations; engagement, performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
* Full cycle recruiting, including creation of job postings, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, communicate job offers, complete pre-employment screening process, and prepare for first day.
* Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding.
* Data entry and maintenance of the HRIS system (Dayforce) including payroll, benefits, and electronic personnel files.
* Ensure proper reconciliation of payroll timesheets within the timekeeping system, including accurately recording absences, vacation, holiday hours, etc. on a bi-weekly basis
* Assist with employee event planning, projects, audits and administration
* Accountable to being knowledgeable of the Company benefits offering and able to answer employee questions related to those programs.
* Maintain documents in various informational portals, including Intranet (Sharepoint), HRIS (Dayforce), DocuSign
* Track and report on monthly, quarterly and annual metrics across all businesses.
* Periodic reconciliation of monthly invoices
* Participate in periodic audits across all benefit and HRIS systems including data integrity, consistency, and accuracy
* Assist Information Technology with employee information updates
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications
* Experience of at least 2-4 years of progressive human resources experience, preferably in manufacturing.
* Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
* Excellent computer capabilities, including HR systems and MS Office.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* The ability to analyze problems and make independent judgments to initiate corrective action or resolution.
* The ability to work with and maintain information of a highly confidential and sensitive nature.
* Demonstrated ability to display diplomacy in day-to-day interactions with commitment to task with awareness of urgency.
* The ability to work independently and work as a value-add to the divisional team function.
* Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
* Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
* Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS

Environment: Typical office environment with shelves overhead and above work surfaces.
Physical: Sitting at workstation approximately 90% of work time. Standing and walking approximately 10 percent of work time.

Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
Other: Ability to work overtime or occasionally on weekends with notice.
