Responsibilities:
System Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Regularly monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
Perform routine updates, patches, and backups for systems and software.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to staff or end-users in person, via phone, or remote desktop services.
Troubleshoot and resolve computer-related issues, including operating system errors, software malfunctions, or connectivity problems.
Hardware Setup and Installation:
Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, servers, and other office equipment.
Ensure that all hardware is working efficiently and meet organizational requirements.
Network Administration:
Set up new hire's computers, setting up VPN, access to the shared drives, emails, printers and scanners.
Assist in the setup, configuration, and management of network systems, routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi.
Monitor the network to ensure uptime and troubleshoot any connectivity or network issues.
Security Management:
Implement and enforce IT security policies, including virus protection, firewalls, and encryption.
Monitor systems for potential security threats and ensure the installation of the latest security patches.
Software Installation and Configuration:
Install and configure operating systems, software, and applications for users.
Ensure the software is up to date and troubleshoot any issues users may encounter.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of hardware, software, and network configurations.
Document issues and resolutions for future reference.
User Account Management:
Create, modify, and manage user accounts and permissions.

Training and Guidance:
Provide training to staff on using IT systems, software, or hardware.

Inventory Management:

Daily Tasks:
Morning Check: Start the day by checking the IT systems for any overnight issues or alerts.
Helpdesk Support: Answer helpdesk calls and respond to requests for assistance, addressing user issues with hardware, software, or network-related problems.
System Updates: Apply updates and patches to operating systems and software across workstations and servers.
Network Monitoring: Review the status of the network, looking for connectivity issues or potential threats. Monitoring MS account and spam settings.
Hardware Setup/Installation: Set up new devices for employees, ensuring everything is configured properly (e.g., printers, computers, phones).
