The Position Information Technology (IT) Technicians install, configure, monitor, and maintain networks and monitor and maintain help desk user support or mainframe and server operations. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. The Department of Taxation IT Customer Support division is seeking to fill an IT Technician 5 position. This position is located at Carson City. IT Technicians are responsible for maintaining computer and peripheral equipment, imaging computers, Microsoft Active Directory account management, Microsoft endpoint device management, monitoring systems, and basic networking.
