Roles & Responsibilities:
· Will oversee the daily operations of Operational Technology (OT) systems, ensuring their reliability, security, and performance. This role will bridge the gap between IT and OT, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
· Grid Control IT Systems Oversight*: Manage the daily operations of OT systems, including SCADA, DCS, PLC, and other industrial control systems.
· System Reliability and Performance*: Ensure high system availability, reliability, and performance, implementing proactive maintenance and troubleshooting strategies.
· Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure OT systems' security, compliance, and risk management.
· Incident Response: Develop and implement incident response plans, ensuring prompt and effective response to OT system incidents.
· Change Management: Oversee change management processes, ensuring seamless deployment of updates, patches, and new systems.
· Team Management: Lead a team of IT engineering specializing in OT operations, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
· Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
· Budgeting and Cost Management*: Manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation
· Reporting and Analytics*: Develop and provide regular reports, dashboards, and analytics to support informed decision-making.
· Compliance and Regulatory*: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
· Experience of IT SLDC process for both Waterfall, Agile process.
