**Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional 2nd level support for IT infrastructure and workplace-related issues.
- Offer on-site support for all IT workplace matters, including equipment preparation, issue resolution, and user assistance.
- Serve as the crucial link between Global Servicedesk (1st level support) and the Global Infrastructure team (3rd level support), ensuring seamless communication and efficient issue resolution.
- Collaborate closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to address complex technical challenges and contribute to successful project outcomes.
- Guide users through problem-solving processes, delivering accurate information on IT products and services while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
- Maintain meticulous records of events, problems, and resolutions in our ITSM system (ServiceNow), ensuring thorough documentation and effective follow-up.
- Manage and maintain hardware installations and preparations, updating the CMDB as part of our ITSM framework.
- Assist Global Infrastructure team with projects tailored to meet specific Swiss needs, and undertake small IT projects independently as required.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in English and German (verbal & written); fluency in French is a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting complex business environments, including VIP users.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer orientation and the ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues effectively.
- Experience with ITIL/ITSM systems and processes, particularly ServiceNow.
- Proficiency in Microsoft environments such as Windows 10, MS Teams, and SCCM.
- Experience with VM Ware Horizon VDI and thin clients preferred.
- Familiarity with video conferencing systems (preferably Webex) and phone systems (PBX, IP, Cisco, Jabber, Mobile).
- Basic understanding and experience with LAN/WAN support.
- Experience with Office 365 and other cloud solutions is advantageous.
- Experience with disk encryption, preferably Trellix.
