As an IT Systems Administrator, you will design, implement, and manage the organization's IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operation of technology systems. You will collaborate with other IT professionals to support and enhance system performance, security, and reliability.
Responsibilities
System Design and Implementation:
Design and deploy IT systems and solutions based on organizational needs.
Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and network devices.
Develop and maintain system documentation, including architecture diagrams and configuration details.
System Management And Monitoring
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure security and performance.
Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Troubleshooting And Support
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff.
Perform root cause analysis of system failures and recommend corrective actions.
Security And Compliance
Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect IT assets.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Ensure systems comply with regulatory and organizational standards.
Project Management
Lead or participate in IT projects to enhance or upgrade systems.
Coordinate with vendors and external partners for system procurement and support.
Manage multiple project timelines and competing priorities
Documentation And Reporting
Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Prepare and present reports on system performance, incidents, and improvements.

Occasional after-hours support may be required for system maintenance or emergencies.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
Experience
3+ years as a Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, or similar role.
Technical Skills
Experience managing and troubleshooting Windows Server environment
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g, VMware, Hyper-V).
Familiarity with backup solutions (e.g., Veeam) and disaster recovery plans.
Understanding of network protocols and services (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Proficient in managing Active Directory environments
Familiarity with cloud services (e.g. Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Azure) and related technologies.
Experience with patch management solutions and best practices
Experience with scripting and automation (e.g. Powershell, Power Automate)
Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Experience with managing and troubleshooting Cisco/Meraki network devices (Preferred)
