Title: IT Systems Engineer

Description

• The IT Systems Engineer will be part of an infrastructure and automation team supporting and enhancing job scheduling and orchestration tools.
• This role involves managing a hybrid environment that spans across cloud-based and on-premises systems.
• The successful candidate will be able to articulate orchestration workflows, assess the current configuration, and propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• This position also requires strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with stakeholders and coordinate across different technical groups.
  
  

Required Skills

• Understanding of job orchestration and batch processing workflows
• Experience configuring orchestration workflows following established best practices
• Capability to perform risk analysis and ensure policy compliance in workflow design
• Proficiency in upgrading application versions and virtual agents
• Familiarity with implementing jobs as code in CI/CD environments
• Ability to identify and implement opportunities for workflow automation and consolidation
• Troubleshooting skills using logs and error messages
• Experience with agile methodologies and working independently
• Comfort working within delivery teams to align their workflows with organizational standards
  
  

Desired Skills

• Experience supporting systems in hybrid cloud environments including on-premises and cloud-based platforms
• Strong communication skills for engaging with business and IT stakeholders
  
  

Compensation

Pay Range: $46.55-$66.50 Per HR
