Pilatus is hiring an IT Systems Administrator to join our team in Broomfield, CO. In this role, you will perform a variety of system support and network administration tasks including installing, maintaining, and monitoring the operation of the LAN network. A successful person in this position will troubleshoot, diagnosis, and repair/fix network servers, desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software applications.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Provides technical support to internal customers on hardware, network, and software issues via phone, e-mail, or in person (tier-II help desk)
Installs, sets up, upgrades, builds, maintains, secures, monitors, and troubleshoots:
Windows Servers, including Terminal Services, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, Backup utilities, VMware, and other special application servers
Network components (wired and wireless), including routers, switches, access points, and network controllers
Desktops, laptops, and computer peripherals such as printers, copiers, and scanners
Cisco Unified Call Manager (VOIP) telephone system including voicemail, handsets, servers, switches, and softphones
Computer software: installs, evaluates compatibility and security compliance with existing hardware, software, and operating systems
Active Directory, including adding or updating user accounts and modifying security groups
Mobile devices such as Smart Phones and Tablets running Windows, Android, or IOS operating systems
Assists in maintaining security and data protection:
Protects Pilatus’ intellectual assets by keeping information secure and confidential
Works with IT Security Analyst to protect and secure IT resources
Network protection on servers and workstations
Installs and updates required protective software, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, and disk encryption
Evaluates and applies security updates on servers, workstations, laptops, and mobile devices
Leverages the use of Microsoft WSUS server to automate patches
Other Duties/Responsibilities
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications
Evaluates and recommends new products to improve security, reliability, and performance of the environment
Documents system architecture, policies, procedures, configurations, and guides
Works with hardware and software vendors to accomplish critical tasks
Supports Pilatus aircraft documentation and interactive manuals, for both in-house and external users
Assists the IT Director with additional tasks and projects as required
Requirements:
Skills/Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
2 – 4 years of experience in IT administration and support
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications, including Windows clients, Windows Servers, and Office suites
LAN knowledge and maintenance (Cisco and/or Aruba Network Hardware experience a plus)
Experience with SharePoint workflows and forms preferred
Microsoft Azure/M365 experience preferred
Problem solving with strong quality focus
High level of customer service orientation to support users’ immediate needs
Team-orientation with ability to work independently
Some after-hours work is required for system maintenance and upgrades
Ability to conform to new procedures, policies, and technology

The salary range for this position is $71,829 - 90,856 per year depending on experience. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
