Attwood Perks is proud to be partnering with an award-winning business in Bury St Edmunds who are looking for a bright and ambitious IT Support Technician on a permanent basis to join their friendly team due to growth.

As IT Support Technician you will be pragmatic and customer-focused and have solid exposure to 1st and 2nd Line IT duties, excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to thrive in a small team environment.

This business are going through a period of technology evolution so you will also get the chance to get involved with lots of project work including legacy-system upgrades and the implementation of new software to enhance business efficiency and performance. Exciting stuff!

This is a hybrid-working role with additional flexibility as and when required.

Day to day duties include:

• Providing all round technical support up to 2nd Line support duties;
• Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques.
• Determining the best solution based on the details provided of the issue and assist colleagues through the problem-solving process.
• Provide colleagues with accurate information on IT products or services and offer feedback on outstanding tickets.
• Execute and have input into internal IT related polices, processes and procedures.
• Basic administration tasks such as ordering and shipping of equipment.
• Acting as a champion for the importance of customer experience within the business.
• Fostering sound working relationships with all employees.

Required Experience:

• Good exposure to supporting users with Microsoft related issues;
• An inquisitive mind and a passion for IT project work;
• Proven technical ability with Office 365 Solutions, Active Directory administration, Windows 7, 10, iOS, Android, Basic Network troubleshooting.
• Windows Server and VMware experience is highly desirable
• Use initiative to ensure that high importance deadlines and SLAs are met.
• Strong written and verbal skills and the ability to produce clear and accurate documentation (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
