Discover a more connected IT Support Supervisor career At TelCom Construction, as a IT Support Supervisor, you'll responsible for supporting IT systems' end-users by troubleshooting and repairing technical products while using technical expertise and the Company's diagnostic tools. The IT Support Supervisor possesses in-depth knowledge of the Company's IT infrastructure so, when required or necessary, it is able to assist Enterprise-level IT teams to identify, support and resolve IT issues. This position is office based. What you'll do as a IT Support Supervisor Maintains responsibility for the oversight, training, and development of IT Support Specialist staff Performs IT Support functions at all levels of the organization Delegates appropriate day to day work assignments to IT Support Specialist staff Supports and assists other IT Support Staff as necessary Provides friendly, courteous and quality support to all users Possesses a high level of self-accountability to provide a timely resolution to technical issues Responds to incoming telephone calls, voice-mails, web-submissions, emails, chats and face-to-face requests for assistance from users experiencing IT problems Troubleshoots, analyzes, resolves, tracks, escalates and accurately documents various technical problems in an effort to minimize system downtime in a multi-user environment (i.e., client specific applications, printers, workstations, etc.) Interfaces with Enterprise-level IT infrastructure teams, assisting them to identify and solve system issues/errors or facilitating special projects as requested Documents IT inventory assignments and regularly inventories them Communicates technical information to both technical and non-technical users. Adapts communication style and presentation as appropriate for the given audience Appropriately routes and escalates incidents to appropriate resources Stays current with fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment Coordinates and assists with network and communication infrastructure maintenance and troubleshooting with enterprise network team Travels to branch locations as requested Other duties as assigned What you'll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology-related field or 5-7 years of working experience in an Information Technology role or combination of education and work experience Acute attention to detail Good, honest and respectful written and oral communication skills Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision or in small group settings Perceptive demeanor that can relate to individuals at all levels throughout the Company Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot problems/configure prominent business computer hardware, software applications and operating systems with a focus on quality including, but not limited to: Windows 10/11; Microsoft Office Printer Support (TCP/IP Settings, SMTP, etc.) Installing network printers and troubleshoot printer connectivity problems Knowledge of and ability to use Remote Session (e.g., LogMeIn Rescue, VNC, etc.) Android & IOS mobile technologies Mobile Device Management (e.g., Airwatch) Experience with Google Apps for business preferred Ability to manage and protect highly confidential information Strong organizational skills and time management Possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Core Competencies Team work Tech Savvy Thorough, respectful and effective communication Organizational Savvy Detail oriented Analytical Self-motivated Dependable Organized Physical abilities & exposures The work environment characteristics and physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
