Overview
An IT Support Engineer provides technical assistance and support to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring equipment, and ensuring smooth IT operations. Responsibilities will also include supporting meeting spaces and supporting networking infrastructure.
Base Hourly Range $31.25 – $42.00
The above reflects the pay range that QSC reasonably expects to pay for this role. This pay range also depends on various factors such as job duties and requirements, relevant experience and skills and geographic location. In addition to the base salary range, QSC offers a comprehensive package including but not limited to health benefits, 401K or Roth retirement plans and generous time off.

Responsibilities
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Identify the root cause of technical problems and implement solutions.
- Document issues and resolutions for future reference.
Hardware And Software Management
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
- Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Manage and update software and operating systems.
User Support
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
- Answer user inquiries and address technical issues promptly.
- Train users on new technologies and software.
Network Support
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
- Monitor network performance and identify potential problems.
- Assist with network infrastructure maintenance.
Security
- Ensure the security of computer systems and networks.
- Install and maintain security software and hardware.
- Assist with security audits and assessments.\
Support AV (Meeting Spaces)
- Prepare and support meeting spaces.
- Test and confirm functionality of the meeting spaces prior to meetings occurring
- Trouble shoot and implement fixes for hardware and Q-Sys in meeting spaces Supporting AV & MTR systems in a contemporary workplace
Support Networking Infrastructure
- Basic network support for users
- Assist Networking Team with add or changes to network
- Trouble shoot and implement fixes with support of the Networking Team
Education
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Related Discipline is preferred
Certifications
- CompTIA A+ Certifications Preferred
- Other relevant and preferred certifications (CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certications, etc.)
- Q-SYS Level 1 Required
Experience
- 5+ Years in Helpdesk Support
- 1+ Year of providing AV Support in a fast-paced corporate executive environment
- 1-3 Years supporting netowrking preferred
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Experience with networking protocols and technologies.
- Knowledge of security principles and best practices.
